Mitch vs Oneflare
Oneflare is a local services marketplace that Airtasker moved to acquire. Mitch builds your own Google reviews and posts. Here is how they compare for a tradie.
If you searched for Oneflare reviews, start here: oneflare.com.au now redirects to an Airtasker page. Airtasker announced it was acquiring Oneflare, which makes a comparison with Oneflare today a comparison with how Airtasker handles that business.
What Oneflare was
Airtasker's announcement describes Oneflare as Australia's 3rd largest local services platform. This page does not quote Oneflare prices, because there is no current Oneflare price list to point to. If you have an old account, ask Airtasker what it covers now.
Mitch is not a marketplace. You take a photo of the finished job in the ute and add a line. Mitch drafts your Facebook and Instagram posts, and on the Local plan and above it texts a Google review request 24 to 72 hours after the job and drafts review replies.
Side by side
| Compared | Mitch | Oneflare |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per month | A$129 Social, A$249 Local, A$579 Complete. | No current Oneflare price list. Ask Airtasker. |
| Who does the work | You send in the job. Mitch drafts posts and review asks. You approve. | You respond to job requests and quote. |
| What you own at the end | Your Google profile, its reviews, and your Facebook and Instagram pages. | Reviews on a marketplace profile stay there. The site itself now sits under Airtasker. |
| Contract terms | 14-day free trial, no card. Monthly plan afterwards. | Ask Airtasker for the current terms. |
| What is included | Posts, calendar and crew app on every plan. Local adds Google review requests, reply drafts and Google Business Profile posts. Complete adds website fixes, a WordPress plugin, a weekly blog page and rank tracking. | Access to customers posting jobs, to the extent the Airtasker platform carries it over. |
Why the difference matters
On a marketplace, a customer posts a job and can compare several tradies. When a site changes owner or changes how it works, the profile and reviews you built there sit with a company you do not control.
A Google Business Profile with real reviews belongs to you. Mitch feeds it: the review ask, the replies and the profile posts all start from a finished job.
Who each one suits
A marketplace suits a tradie with space in the diary who can quote quickly and wants to meet new customers.
Mitch suits a tradie who is already busy and wants jobs turned into reviews and posts without evenings spent writing. It does not generate leads and it does not promise rankings.
When a marketplace like Oneflare or Airtasker is the better pick
- You are new and have no reviews yet.
- You want enquiries this week, not a profile that builds over months.
- You like quoting and have a good win rate.
- Customers in your trade already use these sites to find tradies.
When Mitch is the better fit
You want customers to find you through Google and Facebook, with your name and your reviews up front. Review texts need the customer's mobile number and a consent tick. Our wider comparison on paying for leads covers hipages, ServiceSeeking and the rest. See the pricing page.
