The Google Business Profile audit is not live yet. We are not giving a date, and this page will change when it is.
The audit will check your Google Business Profile and list what is missing or out of date:
- Missing categories, services and photos
- Unanswered reviews and posts that have gone stale
- A plain-language list of what to fix
A quick self-check you can do today
Open your listing on your phone, then search your business name and trade in Columbus the way a customer would. Then go through it:
- Categories. Is your main category the thing you most want to be found for, with others added for your other work?
- Services and hours. Are they all there, and are the hours right including holidays and after-hours calls?
- Photos. When was the last one added? Real jobs beat stock images.
- Reviews. Scroll the list. Any without a reply from you?
- Posts. When was the last one? If it was last year, the profile looks closed.
- Phone and website. Tap both. Make sure they work.
- Other listings. Check that your name and phone number on Yelp, Angi, Nextdoor and the BBB match what Google shows. If they differ, update them yourself on each site.
